He is saying that people don't actually remember the military people who died for our country. But people don't do it anymore. That is what memorial day is for right? All people do is go skiing somewhere because its a 3 day weekend. And that is what he is doing this segment on.

Memorial Day commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in the military service.

Veterans Day honors ALL who served in the military.
