@PaPoiSpinner412 hahahahahahaha i just watched your newest video thats "alot better than my last vid" ... who are you to criticize Asaf? you look like youve been spinning for 2, maybe 3 months?
Poiboi : keep up the great work. I have no idea where you get your inspiration from but it never ceases to amaze me!
Either way, this was a very cool video. Kudos on working through the permutations! That club trick at the beginning was rather nifty. Theres a couple things I've been seeing from you that I will most definitely have to adapt into my flow.
what i mean is that if you look at poi in terms of the probability matrixes...you have personal (which are the moves you know) vs the comprehensive (all moves that have ever existed, whether or not we know of them) probability matrixes.
The permutations would be ever iteration of ever variation that you currently know of. Its like, you took Mel's stall combo, turned it around to the horizontal axis.
Quick example, what happens if you rotated the pentagram so the tip pointed at 3 or 9 oclock? It would augment the entire pattern construct in terms of timing... So on and so forth. But like, in that sense, there are 8 variations I think...for each kind of star/pentagram pattern.
Ever try wallplane antispin flower that overlays the pentagram? What if you turned that standard diamond variation of the antispin flower 1/4?
It becomes a Square variation which then...augments the permutation systemically. Likewise...what if you could change the orientation of any pattern every half rotation?
^ I think thats what the meaning of CAPs was getting at. Continuous assembly of patterns to create new pattern constructs from pieces of other patterns. In this way, no two motions should ever mirror each other cause you would be in constant state of transit through every pattern.
HAHAHA I thought you'd cut me out in editing... i liked the fact that after i show up the track repeats "when i saw that his behaviour got erratic, borderline psychotic, dangerous to himself, and possibly to others..."
Great tech vid. I really like the direction you taking, and the combinations yor putting together. The Antispin/Isolation-extension CAP looked amazing. What about a Antispin/Isolation-extension flower in wall plane....Hmmmm...... Also a thought on the floating flowers - Not sure if this is what you were doing, but what if you alternated between horizontal and vertical floats to make the flower? Thanks again for the inspiration....I need to get some vids out myself.... Bests!
about the float flowers, I'm trying to do this, but the particular variation I'm doing here is very tricky, and at the moment not very floaty at all.
About your idea- the Antispin/Iso-Ext. flower in wall plane, how would that work? Is it like a wall plane CAP? or do i change directions half way, so it's do a full flower.
Yeah - Antispin/Iso-Ext. flower in wall plane.....Rather than doing it as a CAP, do full 360 in wall plane so its a full flower. I think I've seen Cyrille do it before, but I never understood the concept until now.
the antispin/isolation-extension flower in wallplane would almost mirror the fountain variation of an isolation vs extension and the unit circle hybrid stuffs. Or so me thinks.
those horizontal split time stalls are RIDICULOUS!

This was a blast. Only thing are those horisontal floats but you already mentioned them, they always need more work i know haha.
I have practice today so I need to note some of these things in my notebook!
Thank you and happy spinning =)

what do you mean by permutations?
and thanks :)
I'd really love to see what people like you can come up with based on the things I post here :)

TIGHT. loved the floaters. sickkk variations there. never seen any except the butterfly one. nice job .i loved this.
tori579 2 years ago
the float catches BTB were pretty cool.
as I told you, I'm still not a fan of diagoal plane, even after seeing drex do an atomic on diagonal.
horizontal split time stalls is a nice move for performance, very visual for the audience. all in all good job!
