This video would be a great entry for this pet contest that Swimtown pools is putting on this month. The winner gets $250, and all they have to do is submit their YouTube video to the "Pools Pet Contest" group on YouTube

@jasdiofa Dude, just because a dog is small, it doesn't mean it's automatically frufru and for women and gay men. Most of the meanest dogs you can find are small breeds, and quite a few aren't even afraid to attack someone. Plus, if you have a rat problem and hate cats, you can get a Miniature Pinscher, Rat Terrier, or Jack Russell Terrier, and they'll kill the rats. Small dogs were once used to hunt badgers, which are well-known for being pretty vicious.

If your min pin is lazy, you probably don't have a real min pin then...you got jipped...yours is probably a black and rust chihuahua or something...

@ohnoaperson543 Aww she sounds sweet. Mine has natural ears too, but her tail is docked. Your dog could swim. A lot of dogs like to swim. I don't think her ears would get infected unless water goes down the ear canal. Just be careful when shes in the water. Its always good to be cautious when having fun. Other than that, I see no problem with her swimming.

Duuude - that barking ... ouch! I love the craziness of my min pin, but I discourage that sort of earsplitting bark that makes people say "arrrgh, little yippie dogs!"
My 10 year old Min Pin, Rasha, is a yacker like yours. If she barks too much I simply ask the question, "do you want a shower"? She hates the water! Even at 10, she's got lots of enery like your pup. Russ.
i have two minpins and they are just like that. it is so funny to see the resemblence in them. i was playing this video and my youngest one heared yours barking and she started barking. haha
my minpin use to bark at my feet or whenever I had shoes on .."he knew i was about to leave" and he would chase bark at my shoes til i reach the door and closed it...
he would still continue to bark until about 5mins later.
Seems like the water in the pool is freaking him out...Mine acts the same way around things that scare him -- he bounces around the lawnmower for example, barking and pouncing and snarling until I put him inside.
We lived at the beach for years when he was younger, and he loved body surfing. It was funny to see how fast he could swim, given how skinny his legs are! He doesn't like fresh water as much - he's not very buoyant because he's so lean.
