great tutorial, can you someone possibly shed some light on me- Im having trouble midi mapping my mpk49 on ableton. my nobs and stuff seem to be pre set to stuff like volume, and ignore my changing them. i cannot get my pads to launch clips. i was thinking maybe this is because i don't have any audio interface yet? i can launch clips with my keyboard, but not my mpk49. i was also thinking maybe because my preset is live lite while im using live suit.
@robuzy Hey mate, first of all you need to go to Preferences - MIDI/Sync and ensure the Remote and Track lights are yellow by all MPK49 inputs. Then press Command/Control + M to MIDI map parameters. If that doesn't work, contact Akai or Ableton tech support. Cheers!
excellent, I've always wondered how to create the "dub growl" and this came up on google search :D. Is this possible with Fruity Loops 9 ?? Also, where did you learn to control all those filters and stuff?
@aleeks831 Yeah, I like messing with sounds. This one was a fun tutorial. I'm sure you can do the same in Fruity Loops. Just use a basic sampler, or Kontakt from NI if you need a 3rd party one. As far as learning to control all the filters and stuff, I just watched lots of Youtube vids from Ableton and Dubspot. Cheers!
whats the intro song? great idea with dogs voice ;)

@Ontario9108 Thanks. The intro is Vespers - We Get Wicked feat. MC Vex (General MIDI remix) on Pop + Lock Records, out on Beatport and iTunes.
