She makes me think of Alison Moyet, Janice Joplin, Annie Lennox ... a NATURAL BORN DIVA! Someone needs to make her famous and make some billions with this woman of great talent, with a brilliance, humility, great presence and humor to back her up. Too bad she ended up on the WRONG SHOW. Even "mean Simon" would have recognized this TREASURE amd treated her right.

I loved this! I thought the beginning was very raw and sexy. And during that beginning it looked like Lukas like it too haha judging by that grin on his face lol. but I'm voting for Lukas!

Yeah she was a little shakey on pitch on some parts but I thought the arrangement definately had more potential than the others. Her's was definately more jazzy and it definately suited the song better.

EVERY studio "performance" is pitchy, people are just used to hearing the finished product after all the punch ins (and some pitch correction) Musicians do many takes, many splices, many do-overs. From my professional experience, Storm did an excellent job!

Who told me I have perfect pitch? Every teacher I've had from my professors at Peabody and Julliard to all of the musicians I've performed with. I totally agree with the comment about seven other contestants to pick on before Storm. However this was in response to Cronjob saying it was so good it should have been on the show and that it blew the other contestants out of the water. I think NOT!

I can't f*king fathom how anyone could watch that and not be impressed. She showed creativity, control, emotion and power in an improvisational setting. This girl is the real deal.

Actually I thought this improv was great. Better than the rest of them and I thought that the kinda jazzyness she put in the verse was great.

I've only liked Storm since she did Anything Anything, and she's got a pretty badass personality; but damn, this sucked. I agree that she was all over the place and her melody didn't even go with the track

I love Storm's originals with Storm Inc ... but I ain't feeling this, much as I ain't feeling her Snova performances all that much. Girly's gotta kick out the jams -- hope she ain't mellowing out in her old(er) age -- and return to her brutal, sexual and creatively booyah past if she wants a chance in hell of winning this thing.

God, that was hot. Why the hell wasn't that in the show?! The only reason I can think of is because it blew all the other first-impression rehearsals out of the water (at least, the ones that they showed in the first episode).

Honestly, man ... I thought it was bad, and that might be the reason it wasn't shown. As much as I hate Lukas, his verse was (I can't believe I'm going to compliment him here) amazing. Lyrics were great, phrasing was innovative, even if his vocals were limited. This? Pretty bland. "There's plenty of love to go around"? Ick.

You've got to be joking! That was horrid, she was all over the place pitch wise and her melody didn't even really go with the track. Jill's lyric was a hell of a lot better and I don't even like her. That's why we have shows like this we all have our likes and our dislikes but with someone with perfect pitch that just hurt my ears but not as much Z's performance LOL.

lol, it was definitely raw, but well up to the standards of the concerned players. Who told you that you have pefect pitch? There's at least seven that I'd pick on before Storm.
