  • So I found Quartz Debug, checked the box. Now when I log out and back in and go to Displays, it doesn't show the additional HiDPI options, only the normal resolutions. Any advice??

  • @iPodUplink i did everything just like you and i checked the enable box logged out and when i come back in the box is unchecked so i check it and hit continue and the HiDPI isn't shown

  • @TheOtherPlum I found out that u have to download it. U can just google something like quartz debug download and it shud come up.

  • I hope there will be something similar for Windows because I feel spoilt when I look at the retina DPI, it's so ridiculously clear. But then with the 1:1 scale on Windows it may be a nice readable size however it is nowhere as clear as the DPI on Apple iDevices.

  • @HeyWOr1d Yeah it's meant to be. It's scaled up by 2x. So it looks clearer but at the cost of larger size.
