In terms of difficulty, Forza is better, but in graphics, amount of cars and circuits, nothing like the GT 4 and 5. Simply the best.

I agree that GT games have traditionally had better graphics and customization, but the gameplay physics are absolute garbage. I remember playing GT5 Prologue, and every time I hit a railing, the car bounced off like it was spring loaded. WTF is that all about, a car should contort itself around an obstacle, not bounce right off of it. I remember in GRiD, skimming a wall at 125 MPH would just barely take a fender off and nudge you, but in GT5 you'll bounce right off the track!
