  • sounded like the first revoloution I never have to more than bump the key for My astro 1,5 years still and started better than My old mustang 5.0 every day

  • @sirlonghair

It was ! Didn't turn the key before, only to see if the battery was charged. Well Chevy rules, thats all :-)

  • how many clicks does the motor have on it cuz those motors are known for their intake manifold gaskets to go at a certain mileage

  • @Norcoryde007

well its got exactly 203'203kms :-) and the right exhaust manifold is dead, other than that everything's fine, didn't know about that intake manifold gasket thing, I'll have to check it out !

  • Nice to see other Europeans keeping it real with american cars! Nice one man, checking out a possibly free Astro tomorrow myself :)

  • thanks a lot ! yup im tryin hard to drive real cars haha ! well I got onaother one for parts, i'll make a vid of that asap ! PM when youll have checked your van ! Im really interested in that ! =D

  • I love that song that's playing in the begining of the video

  • when I'm speaking, its "buy me a Mercury" from Alan Jackson, then some bluegrass, but I dont remember who did it

  • 4:42!!! Old engineering coming back to life! That's soooo cool. Love it.

  • Im from switzerland (NOT Sweden hahahaha) =)

  • so you are swiss? i was curious and thought i would ask. my accent is different than everyone else's around her in florida, usa. grandparents were from europe. german and greek. i thought i was a little similar in pronounciation. not quite, but it's interesting. thanks though lol ^.^

  • hehe well I guess its because of the greek side, my mom is greek ! :) well nice to see that some people from this old europe live in the USA^^ thats my ole dream, enjoy ! :)

    take care

  • hey ! sorry for answering so late ! Well, that van sure is my girlfriend ! :P well, the van isnt insured, and I have to do some work on it to get it road worthy : brakes, exhaust manifold and some parts of the steering system. well, ill take care of my van, do so with yours, its a nice lil vehicle

  • Did you see all the mice come runnin out the front when you first started it? Awesome!

  • LOL !!! I had never seen that, I thought it was just dust flyin, because of the fan. Youve got sharp eyes man !

  • we used to have 1 of these in white here in england. though we had a top spec 1 and cost us nearly 900 euros for a full service. sold it due to gas being so much here. how many miles or kilometers did yours have? we had about 85000 kilometers on ours.

  • hi, thank you for commenting. Well mine has 203'000kms and i know it still can go at least once that distance. Those engines are great, very small performance for their size but they never die. I currently drive a 1988 Pontiac Bonneville SSE with the 3.8l V6, shes got 475'000kms and goes like new, I just love it

  • Lol I was waiting for this video! Man she sure started NICE! Chevrolet! LOL

  • Chevy KICKS ASS !!! what else would you wanna drive^^ but i commited a treason anyway with my stang haha but as soon as the astro's on the road, ill sell the stang... maybe can be expensive, since it is so rare ! (payed 1600$ for it, inspected, with title, and its got around 52kmiles...)

  • Only 52K miles on it? Man thats nice! What year is it again? Yeah my Blazer has 170K Miles on it, but still runs like new. Well my starter went on it the only day so I can't drive it in till I get a new starter..

  • thats my Mustang that has 52kmiles. My Astros got 160kmiles, but she always starts right up. But now time to change the push rods, the gaskets, valve seals and all ! And the 1600$ were for the Mustang, the Astro was given to me^^

  • Are you from the primarily French speaking part of Canada. It's very fluent.

  • thx ! nope i'm form switzerland in europe, frenchs my mothertongue and i learnt english by speaking it for 6 months in iceland, before being able to speak icelandic, that is a fucking hard language

  • I can only imagine =P

  • You can ALWAYS DEPEND on your CHEVROLET!!!

  • OOOOOOOH YEEEEEEAAAAAH

  • Nice dash. What year is the Astro?

Keep the oil changed and she will run for a long time.

    Nice music also.

  • thanks ! its a 92. Yapp, i'll change lots of things actually. its now got 160 kmiles, i'll change all the gaskets and seals (valves seals included) and the lifters as well. then of course all the fluids and so on... and i have to redo the brakes as well it has to be ready for next summer, cause i'm going for a big trip, and i dont wanna use the mustang for it.

  • who big trucks i would like to hear them run

  • the truck doesn't run. But i would be very pleased to start it for you, but it's 100miles away from my home and i dont have time. but i got a few cold starts of 1 or 2 tractors i'm gonna upload soon
