I feel sad for the Gul girl. I mean she probably did as many scenes as the other girls and she's not even introduced in beginning scene. She would've thought this is her breakthrough in her acting career and suddenly the director tells her that her scenes aren't gonna be in the movie. That's heartbreaking for any actor.

WTF!! They deleted the main scenes of the movie. I understood the movie so well now, like, "apke dahi chawal bohot yad aate hain" thing bindya said.

Gul scenes were also deleted..WHY?

It's Editor decision end of the day because they can not keep all the scenes because of the length of the movie, if they keep all these kind of scenes then movie length increase to 4 hours so they have to edit the movie keeping length and story in mind.

And as far as "Gul's" scenes are concern it's Director & Production team decision how long length wise they want to keep certain character in movie keeping story in mind.

Even I personally think that Slumdog was a crap movie even though it earned a handful of Oscars (No offense to A.R Rahman intended, He's a grt musician) .....

yea i agree wit everything u said about slumdog and rehman ji. but the real reason why it did so well was because of white people lol. they don't know the wonders of indian cinema so they were fascinated with even this mediocre work and that's why it was so well recieved over seas. ask any indian who knows better and quality cinema, they'll never tell you they loved it...
