DAM GOOD TUNES THANKYOU !!! any chance you can get the christmass ones on christmass eve i listen to them every year hahaha , the remixes are so funny, thanks again
Here, we are treated to the opening 2 tracks from the BBC tape 'Rolling Along' playing over the rolling pages. During this era, as can be seen from this clip, the BBC experimented with removing the 'header line' from most of the newsreel page sequences, only displaying it briefly during one or two particular pages in the cycle, as at 7:30. Quite why, I do not know. It seems illogical as the clock is useful to have on constant display.
@PagesFromCeefax I think that this was because the actual pages which were shown would normally have been aired on BBC1 but because most of the tapes had moved out of the BBC1 trade test cupboard so to speak and transferred to BBC2, then it would make sense that the pages would be screened by the BBC1 continuity suite with the CEEFAX 2 header superimposed over the top of the pages.

We need more Ceefax muzak from the 1990s on YouTube. There currently isn't enough that sounds this jazzy.
