Read just about any forensic science book & they reference the gross incompetence of the crime scene processing and negligence of the medical examiner atleast somewhere in the book, even if its only a page or two, to highlight how bad it used to be . I am completely lost as to how any person can say that Johnny Cochran and his team did not clearly prove "reasonable doubt" in this case. People seem to forget the already tarnished reputation of the Los Angeles Police Department. People blame the jury. it wasnt corruption that let him off, it was incompetence. Read just about any forensic science book & they reference the gross incompetence of the crime scene processing and negligence of the medical examiner atleast somewhere in the book, even if its only a page or two, to highlight how bad it used to be . Not saying there werent corrupt police, (i.e the detective who called simpson as nigger ~41 times) but the fact that majority of the evidence was contaminated/neglected etc wouldve been why.

That doesn't necessarily mean that OJ wasn't guilty, it just means that Johnnie didn't know whether he was or not. If he knew he was guilty, he'd probably try to work around the knowledge by using euphemistic terms like 'the prosecution haven't made their case', which he hasn't here.

Which brings me to my conclusion... In a murder case, if you have inconsistencies when trying to prove someone guilty, you have to acquit the defendant because he can only be proven guilty if there is evidence beyond reasonable doubt, WHICH THERE WASN'T, that he did it. Ok, so I know all you white people are mad cause OJ was acquitted, but if you weren't so busy being racist or so busy being dumb rednecks who probably didn't even listen to the whole speech, you would know that Johnny Cochran was giving a summary of the evidence and witness testimonies that were reviewed earlier. He only briefly, BUT STILL DID, discuss the evidence in which the glove did NOT fit and the time of the murder being committed was inconsistent with OJ's proven whereabouts that night!

I am completely lost as to how any person can say that Johnny Cochran and his team did not clearly prove "reasonable doubt" in this case. People seem to forget the already tarnished reputation of the Los Angeles Police Department. People blame the jury. People should blame Marsha Clark (& her boy-toy, Darden) for asking OJ Simpson to put on a glove that did not fit. You have to ensure that the physical evidence belongs to the defendant or you are entering a slippery slope.
