  • god that reminded me of fire drills in elementary school

  • sounds like tha 9219

  • It sounds like an underpowered 34t!

  • These are like the most annoying and scary ones i've ever heard. I have those in my school.

  • Do you still have it?

  • @Farenheit4051 Yes but I misplaced the strobe circuitry.

  • Ahhh yes, that brings back elementary school memeries

  • My school's fire alarm sounds the same as this one but much higher pitched.

  • my school has that with the strobe vertical an the horn

  • im nine years old and im learning about fire alarms. so i watch fire alarms a lot.

  • Man, the horn sticks out quite a bit.

  • Crazy sound...

  • sounds like a 9838

  • It's kind of the same thing but with a different grille. Though I don't own a 9833, can someone tell me otherwise?

  • sounds like an underpowered 7002T

  • a 7002T without the skipping

  • A 7004T then.

  • What kind of alarms?

  • The Wendy's in Brockport, NY has these.

  • ...and it exactly looks like this from this video. The pull is a Simplex 4251-30.

  • @DVaccarelli1988 There is no pull in da video

  • @DVaccarelli1988 Both of these at Brockport, NY Wendy's have been replaced by SpectrAlert Advances earlier this year. The 4251-30 break glass T-bar is still intact.

  • is that a 4002 system

  • when it shuts off it sounds like a cow.

  • Mooo

  • @predsfan08 Your Right, It Does Sound like a cow

  • sounds like mine in my school

  • great sounding alarm but annoying reminds me of when I went to guildland elementry school 5 to 8 years ago for summer school and the alarm went off loud as hell

  • can you test this on code three?

  • great sounding alarm

  • Are the strobe and hoen wired separately? If they were wired together, would this horn skip?

  • The Simplex 2991-9833 is a relabeled electromechanical Faraday 6020 horn. We have a horn like that mounted on a 2903 light plate in the cafeteria at my college.

  • Beautiful sound.

  • The drill in my and JLiza's elementry school sounded like that, but was a 4903-9422.

  • A 4903-9422 sounds nothing like that. A 4903-9422 are high pitched and what you had were probably the 9219 or the 9405.

  • How can one tell the difference?

  • If you meen the difference between the 4905 and the 4219 ill tell you. The 4905 has a 110 candela strobe thats a SmartSync and the 9219 has a 15 candela strobe. They both have the same horn and the same look. If you wanna know how they look like heres your answer: They have the same cover as the 4922s.

  • I like march time and code three way better than continuos.

  • Kinda creeps me out.

  • The grille of that horn looks like a flannel shirt.

  • Loud. KILL IT!

  • This thing is so loud!

  • because this horn doesn't skip like the Wheelock 7002T, are the strobe and the horn on the Simplex 9833 wired separately?

  • Mine too.

  • Same sound at my elementry school, but different type.
