How do u manage to get such a good quality?

i have this camera and my video recordings are crappier

Well from my experience up to now you have to take care of 3 aspects.

1.Make sure settings are set to standard (640x480) and not compact.

2.Keep camera as steady as possible.

3.Good lighting conditions help a lot.

Try it out and you might get even better videos than this one. (I have)

Not sure what you meen "compact or standard". I just turned the selector weel to "video" and shot.

NO NO sorry again. It was "standard" (640 x 480). If you chose compact settings change to (160 x 120).

How'd you set the camera up for a steady shot?

I strapped a small tripod on passengers front grip handle with a velcro , and then mounted the camera on the tripod. Next thing I will try is to use sime kind of damper (rubber , afrolex etc).
