williamhrs, the realm of programming is intelligence-oriented, not social-familiarity-oriented. If you don't like smart people's accent, then forget programming & enjoy the rest of your life watching American TV shows.
come one people! does it really matter if he has an accent ? what matters is that he knows what he's talking about and he delivers it in english for us to recieve the information he is presenting. Hiring managers won't hire a person who speaks english with perfect "intonation" if he's a moron and couldn't deliver. He speaks english with an accent, SO WHAT? boohooo, grow up people and focus on the important information instead of posting useless and irrelevant comments about the Prof's english
@vcool it is English just different accent, otherwise i could say all Americans cant speak english cos they speak in a different accent to English people?!
For me the top 2 things a customer wants, which agile offers, are:
1)Innovations that improve business, software is typically an investment. Must have features matter, a lot.
2)Quality (few bugs). An agile programmer who understands quality is able to accurately estimate the number of bugs remaining in a section of software and knows removing them early will improve quality and reduce cost.
Interesting that he describes Agile development, versus more structured processes, as being a tradeoff between the need for speed, versus acceptance of a reduced level of quality (albeit with improved quality through iterations). Some Agile Cheerleaders would argue against that view.
I would prefer presenter retain slide while giving lecture than showing his face. It becomes hard to concentrate what he is actually talking about

The word "agile" is pronounced "aajjil" [ájj'l], and not "a-jiel".
