This is one of the few bands that gives me the same comforting feeling, the same feeling of a slight rainy day in the Arizona desert, the same feeling of walking through that same rainy desert, through the high cliff peaks, looking up at the dense gray clouds... Not many bands actually give me that feeling.

Everyone tries to sound so smart, and superior over this comment box here. It really depresses me. So I listen to thrice, making their guitars and drums sound like water, let it soak in. We could all learn a little something from their inner logic. we're all human, we're all united by our common make-up, hearts, eyes, hands. Together, anything can be accomplished, torn up like we are, we make very little progress, and things like 9/11 easily swept under the rug.

for those of you who do not know, there was a third WTC that fell..not even hit by a plane.
and the most compelling part of it was that a news reporter had reported it 15 minutes before it fell--all while it was standing behind her.

idk, i feel like this song is more about how basically yeah, it sucked that it happened, and we got hurt badly, but what ended up happening is that the government used our pain and emotion to manipulate us into attacking people who didn't really have anything to do with it. basically, the government used a bad situation for its own benefit, and we sat by and let it happen.
i THINK thats the point they are trying to make.

yea, if you were to listen to the lyrics one would think this. Phrases such as " as we all watched the buildings fall" and " a fire burns beneath Manhattan" but i think it is aimed more towards about the supposed cover-up.
