Thanks for sharing this... Would have been nice to see what you were drawing instead of the apples in the trees... I found those segments distracting (I realize you couldn't film the whole drawing...wish you could have though)... You're an amazing talented artist and I enjoyed seeing how you do your fabulous pages.
Lots of thanks! I'm using a waterproof (usually) ink - Noodler's bulletproof black. Some people tell me it smears, but I've had good luck with it so far. I don't usually draw over the watercolor, as something doesn't work right, but rather draw first, then add light washes of color.
Hi! Beautiful sketch! I have the same Lamy fountain pen with Pelikan indian ink (a special indian ink designed for fountain pens). Normally it should be waterproof but I tried with watercolors and the water washed away part of the black ink, so the colors were a bit "dirty". I see you don't have the same problem...
thanks- and zekabroa, yes, I did erase those pencil lines. Otherwise, the graphite and watercolor is a bad combination- everything turns into mud- of course, I'm using a soft pencil, so I suppose you could try a hard pencil- maybe I will try that next.
good

Wow.
