You cant jump straight into the deep end with anything. i think there would be a better chance of having them like it if more power and progressive and symphonic metal was used. E.g. Nightwish, Blind guardian, Kamelot, Pyramaze, Iced earth, Dream Theater, Angra, etc. Though maybe not as funny, probably better for getting people into what is considered a more obscure style. And who knows we might get a few pop starts playing metal in the future. Slim chance i know.
