Jacob wont always change into a werewolf when he's mad. that only happens when you are a new werewolf. and as we all know, when sam hurt emily, he was a new werewolf. but jacob isnt anymore. he is phasing into maturity. therefore he wont turn even if he's mad. he will now be able to CHOOSE when to turn into one. I mean their is a small risk still even when they are older. but it happens WAY less. just like their is a chance that a vampire could lose it on bella. their is no difference.
