True, actually. Come to think of it, Porsche Man always looks back, considering the position of the engine means you're basically driving looking out the rear window.
Once again a nice video of a beautiful spot spoiled with inapropriate music. Don't get me wrong I actually like the song it's just wrong in this context.
@TheFiend62 Yes there are! I've been all over the Lake District and there are plenty crash barriers / reinforced fences there. I'll give you some of the passes are quite nice and are almost as nice as the Highlands... almost.
The Tomintoul road From Carrbridge to Aberdeen is outstanding! Better by far better than anything in the Lakes. There aren't always crash barriers on that road either.
@toungewizzard83 I agree - the Lake District is fine if you want to be stuck in a queue of traffic on a mountain pass. You really can't compare it with Scotland.
Was lucky enough to hit this road one day without encountering a single vehicle ... and I bombed it. Best drive of my life. By the time we'd reached the car park at the top, my passenger had turned green!! What a road. Can't wait to go back. Just one thing - if you ARE going to drive like a lunatic, make sure your brakes are tip-top. One mistake off the tarmac, especially downhill into Applecross (no barriers there), and you won't be driving a car anymore, you'll be a passenger in a plane!!

lol @ the Kia driver giving you the fingers. Bit of looking ahead doesn't hurt, Porsche man. Not sure this wasn't a go-kart actually.
NijntjeMegen 1 year ago
@NijntjeMegen FOOL! Porche Man doesn't have to look ahead! You can always make space by pressing the Loud Pedal harder.

It isn't the highest road in Britian (thats the Cairnwell Pass coming up from Braemar) but it is by far the most impressive.
An the Applecross pub does an awesome seafood platter ;-)
