i've worked there for little over a year now and its great! Still the best hamburger place around and always wil be. And no we dont but beer in the meet. Come in and feed you face and ask for the dancin maid-rite boy Eddie
The recipe was never changed, maidrites have been the same since they started the business. Hey hamwinkie- why don't you go get fat and nasty off of Mcdonald!
Greenville, maid rites are loved by many and are a not to be missed novelty. Those you reading these other uneducated messages . Should just stop by and get a cheese rite everything and a homemade milk shake!
They are not the same anymore. The recipe was changed, something about the use of beer in them made people complain, you know the types! They are not worth eating anymore. People who are new to them won't know the difference but they are not worth the time or money!
Bah. They're still awesome. I haven't noticed a change at all and I've been eating them for 20 years. Well...they have grown smaller and more expensive. But still worth it.
If you are 50 years old or more and know this, quit spreading rumors. I was always told this, by workers there. If you work there, I know you. It did change around 96 or so. If not, I got dead taste buds and lied to. Either way, they suck!
I'm sorry you think they suck. But maidrite has never used beer in there recipe. And yes, your taste buds are dead. Go to any other fast food place and see if you get 100% pure ground beef. Hey everybody, come to the maidrite!! I'll see ya there! My name is kyle and i'm usually makin sandwiches on the grill! Maidrite is a great family owned business. I love working there because the owner is great and so it my boss and managers!
I am from Greenville/Ansonia area. This is truly a GREAT Darke County Icon. Not to mention their Chocolate Shakes. Darke County is famous for quite a few things. Such as Little Miss Sure Shot, Zachary Landsdowne, AND Maid-Rite. The gum tradition is just that, A Tradition. And yes, the cars will line up along side of the road, no matter how long wait.
If you are ever close to this area, please stop by the sandwich shop and see/taste for yourself.
beer WAS used in their burgers at one time, but its been awhile since they did that.

My 82 year old uncle worked at the Maid Rite restaurant when he was a young teenager.
There definitely WAS beer in the recipe back in the old days.
He knows, 'cause he helped make it!
Neat little place that we always visit when we get the chance to get back to Greenville.

Hahah! Well, you gotta smile on my face now. I have to agree with that one!

But Greenville has the most beautiful park in a small town period. Never saw a town so clean too! You can eat off of Broadway! Seriously people.

Your fucking dumb. Have you looked around your hell hole you call a town? You put Darke County to shame!
