@69i8 The motor died and the steering locked... not many choices left to the driver at that point. And as far as the line goes... three other vehicles we were with made that line - and we would have too if the motor kept running.

Good argument for installin' a double roll bar-at least for the rear seat occupants! I've feared that same outcome in my two Broncos. Especially since there's only a fiberglass topper over the back seat and NO structural integrity built into the cab! My '78 has real steel for a body but the '94 is more like a beer can :) !

Bad carb and high altitude... Auto with 5.8. After a year it was in pretty rough shape and it was donated to salvation army.
