I didn't get to see it live, seen the rebroadcast later that night. very touching. I remember during the 2004 race, Sen. Tom Daschle and his opponent John Thune were on the program and like what was said by his friends, he punched holes in every argument they brought to the table. Thune didn't have a clue.
