the pilot didnt pitch down!! it was a dramatic lost of head wind !! then the airplane pitches down !!

Yup due to loss of air flow over the wings, which in turn reduces lift. Don't know why the fuck I just typed that, I guess I like feeling smart lol

Oh my god! What a windshear! I belive how frightening it was from the cockpit...

I had to watch the vid a lot of times before I caught the clues to what happened ... it looked at first like the Pilot had over-controlled and dived for the numbers but after watching about 10 times I saw that there were no control inputs (per the tail surfaces) that would have caused a nose down attitude ... the guy just had his lift dissappear for a brief period ... spooky shit.

please a question !!! i must going before the runway of manchester for seeing the planes if it's runway 23 no problem i know but is it's runway 05 it's always runway 06 R for the LANDINGS always 06R or it's can possible in runway 06L ? and second question do you know a frequency for listening the traffic before the landings ? thanks very much

Runway 05R is used for landings from 0600h until 1030h if the wind is from the north. At 1030h manchester airport changes into single runway operations and 05L is used for take-off and landing ONLY. Sometime in the afternoon they change back to dual runway operations. For Runway 23R/05L the ATC freq. is 118.625 and for 23R/05R the ATC freq. is 119.400. have a good time at Manchester!! - Sam! (il y a beacoup de neige!)

ah a lot of snow ? maybe thursday 14th january my arrival , i will have snow ! and it's runway 1030 ? but 6.00 AM to 10.30 AM or 10.30 PM for the runway 05R the afternoon it's runway 05R i thinks no ? and thanks for the frequencies

Wind-shear was reported in the area on finals by a TC A330 and on departure at about 800ft by a Monarch A300.
