Well, one of their early ideas was to digitally make his eyes green. I saw some pictures and it looked really freaky and fake. I had no problem with the blue eyes after that...

@Ivt its actually because Daniel kept having allergic reactions to the green contact lenses, and its absolutely impossible to draw the scar in the exact same place every time. Daniel has had over 2000 of them drawn on.

@custardmaker Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is the original english title for Rowling's 1st book. The american/worldwide title is the Sorcerer's Stone. Early first harry potter books sold in england go by the name Philosopher's Stone. but it's the same thing. the movie, since it has obviously gone worldwide, went by the worldwide title. :)
