This part of the game made me cry. I didn't expect this, it's so incredibly sad. Since Claudia and Maria are there, too, I guess they aren't ghosts, more like Ezio's memories of better days gone bye. :(

Impossible because Ezio is dead, all you are seeing is his memories. Lorewise Desmond isn't in control he is just looking through Ezio's eyes.

The assassin ability "Eagle Vision" grants far more than telling friend from foe.

Ezio holding her when she died, and then see's that she never really forgot him. Imagine how 'that' must've left him feeling... and yet, still was merciful to that monk... I wouldn't have been.

@TheEpicWolf64 I would think the 'ghosts' are more like figments of Ezio's memory, just to remind the person playing the game what his life used to be. I think I'll go play through this sequence again to see this. Can't believe I missed it D:
