Man I've been a huge halo fan since the orginal one and i gotta say i was really let down by halo legends it's a big steaming pile of crap and im glad i didn't buy this cause i just wanted to carve my eyes out with a fork the whole time.

Watched Origins for the first time today on Netflix, and to be honest, it was PRETTY epic. I don't understand all of the hate. I mean, there's a few MINOR canon issues, but none of them were as bad as Reach's campaign.
My brother was watching this cartoon yesterday on freecartoons-us. He was so impressed so I decided to give it a shut..I found it to be very very funny.. Enough action, comedy and heart wrenching moments what is enough to keep you glued to this cartoon! Fascinating!

It's amazing how people can't understand that Halo Legends was directed at a target audience, namely the Japanese. The Xbox doesn't sell too well over there, Microsoft were intelligent enough to tell 343 to hire some anime writers and allow them artistic licence to make Halo more appealing to people outside the West, therefore boosting the 360's sales.
Besides, at least half of these episodes came out pretty darn well. Origins and the Duel were excellent, Odd One Out was the only AWFUL one.

I don't think personally so much hate anime as the way the Japanese tell their stories. Most of the stories here are very much classic elements of anime from the one guy killing 60 billion to the stoic and tortured warrior cliche. The story telling conventions are so different from what American audiences are used to but with that said, I think the movie works with mixed results. Some anime can be very well done but I think this one of the bette examples. Far from bad but not close to good

Guys. I know this is going to sound wierd. but this movie changed my fucking life. They take this ordinary storyline, and make something much more deep and profound in and of itself. Im honestly surprised that this movie doesnt get annual awards. There are messages in this movie that relate to life. and if that is something you hold dear, i suggest you watch the movie. At least, watch some episodes of it on youtube. In particular, the scene titled 'prototype'

I don't think personally so much hate anime as the way the Japanese tell their stories. Most of the stories here are very much classic elements of anime from the one guy killing 60 billion to the stoic and tortured warrior cliche. The story telling conventions are so different from what American audiences are used to but with that said, I think the movie works with mixed results. Some anime can be very well done but I think this one of the bette examples. Far from bad but not close to good

Guys. I know this is going to sound wierd. but this movie changed my fucking life. They take this ordinary storyline, and make something much more deep and profound in and of itself. Im honestly surprised that this movie doesnt get annual awards. There are messages in this movie that relate to life. and if that is something you hold dear, i suggest you watch the movie. At least, watch some episodes of it on youtube. In particular, the scene titled 'prototype'

Wasnt bad, wasnt good. If the entire video was like the last part. Then I would have the feeling the video would have been amazing.
Im not into the whole sad & sappy anime.. I actually fell asleep during that part and had to finish the movie when I woke up. I didnt even really get the point of it ?
I absolutely loved the humor and design of the part that looked like dragonball z.
Hopefully the last part carries on to its own video, and leaves the rest behind to rot away.

after watching the movie, i have to say that they absolutely destroyed the halo feeling after the second mini movie. and if you dont know what i mean by the feeling of halo, watch the halo reach: deliver hope trailer. now that is what i call halo. if they made a movie that was like that, realistic and intese. it would be absolutely amazing.
