for any bass players just starting off out there, if anyone ever says "oh bass is an easy instrument to play" then show them this video and say "go on then".
doesn't matter who he plays with ... i've seen him with Whitesnake , Alexis Korner, Pete York/ Brian Auger/ Spencer Davis & Chris Farlowe & he IS the master
Legend! Used to see him walking the dog every day in my village, wish I knew how good he was back then. Anyone know if any of these solo pieces he does have been tabbed? I'm giving bits a go but can't find it anywhere.
He does have a tab book, but it's damn near impossible to get hold of. I managed to pick mine up on the German eBay and had to converse with the seller through a German-speaking friend of mine! Good luck!
Damn, Colin! First time I heard a Back Door record was some 35 years ago and I was blown away..... but you've even gotten better!!!

Bomber Hodgkinson should be given the personal equivalent of listed building status.

I first saw Colin Hodgkinson in the Falcon pub Peterborough UK 1974. He just blew me away, no one plays quite like Colin.
The man is a genius.
