I say everyone shall learn to speak Asian (maybe just Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Filipino) so while at school and you here them talking amongst each other. You can get what there yapping about, especially if they laugh at something.

That's why I took Spanish I class in college to learn a few baisc words (with just those words, I have a sense of what's being said) ~ and I am a nosey student especially outside of class.

My sister says "Why come to a foreign country and not speak their lang.

I know what you mean. I'm American, but when my family or friends start making fun of asains and other countries/cultures, I get really pissed off. How can someone be that racist? There's a book called: "Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?: And Other Conversations About Race" Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum. The director was assigned to read the book in school and chose the title from that. I hope that helps.

uhm yeah thats true.Most ppl tend to stick with there race.I personally don't get that. I have friends of litterally every race.Me and my friend hien is really close but we don't sit together at lunch because she sits at the "asian table"and when i sit there they look at me funny.I don't if it is because iam black or they are just uncomftorable to.

I guess what you're talking about is very true in most cases, but in my school it's somewhat different. For one, Asian kids are usually scattered; they usually go with any type of groups. The ones who tend to stick together in MY school, however, are Portuguese people, but they're still very friendly.

However, I still agree with what you are trying to say, since I've seen it plenty of times.
