  • I would put the gyro on the underside of the tail boom block if I were you, it saves it from damage if you have a blade strike.

  • Good advice for PRO setup. But it is

    easier to adjust the dials and switches when it is facing up. I've experienced blade strike on Walkera 36, but not on 450, even during violent pumping up-down. I never fly inverted, however.

    Note the gyro has some 3cm clearance to stab blade and even more to main blade.

  • Losing the convenience of adjusting the gyro once in a blue moon is well worth saving my $100+ gyro from a blade strike.
