@ihavetld... I never had a father but rather than a sperm donor, It was a stranger that who raised me up and now i'm 27 years old but it still hurts to know my donor never will do anything with me. He would do shit with my another brothers but me and that's fck up but hey it's his lost because i have one hella amazing mother that who loves me no matter what my friend.

my dad is a good man but screwed up a lot and its hard for me because he was supose to get married and me and him were going to dance to my little girl but i did with my step dad he is more of a father then my dad he hurt me to much and my lil bro i had to stand up for his son he wouldnt i have not talked to my dad now for 4months and its hard because when he calls im scard

I wish I could say I had that kinda relationship, a girl crying to her daddy, being the one person she looks up too, and knows will never give up on her. But I cant say that. My parents divorced when I was 3, and until last year, I was all he had, but then his girlfriend came along, now he doesnt even call, I had surgery last year, he didnt show up or make sure it went okay, because SHE had something to do. I miss that bond, but its lost forever, theyre getting married, im not important anymore.

@RawrrXoXoItsCassie i love this song. i never really got to know my dad cause when i was 7 year old my dad sign me away and do did my mom and when i turn 18 i got to spend some time with him but not enough cause a year or two later he die and now i do live with my mom but i wish so much that i could have spend more time with my dad and to get to know him but i didnt. and 2 years ago my brother baby was born dead.

My parents got married when I was 2. They wanted to do everything they could to include me in the ceremony so they bought me a ring and when they had said their vows they gave me the ring and minister pronounced us married, according to my grandmother I ran around for the next few months telling everyone I married my daddy. My dad wasn't here for my 19th birthday, won't be here to give me away, and wasn't here for the birth of my son, but hearing this song makes me know he is here watching over.

This song means a lot to me because my real father was abusive and one time he busted my head open with a beer bottle. So I was really untrusting. Until one day my mom introduced me to a tall, burly man who always had a smile on his face. He soon became my stepdad when i was 7 and he has always been my dad and my best friend. I must say... this song makes me cry everytime. My daddy died last year of liver cancer. we had an awful relationship. i wish i could go back and change it. without him life is alot different. maybe not even for the better but but i still miss the good times. @djmartinez1521 WOW i very sorry for your loss i have always feared that my brother will never come home from iraq. We have a very close relationship but to loss you dad at war is very hard. My brother came very close to dieing by trying to save one of the guys in his group who had been shot at several times. I know how you feel and i am really truly sorry to hear about your loss.
