If you use your left and right hands to cover up the two side videos as you focus on the one in the middle it will turn into one video but you have to bring your hands close to your face and focus right. Its a lot better.
why is it called cross eying? im doing it like this if you would make the line of how i see then it crosses normally and the farer away the object the farer it crosse (right on the object) and i make the eyes look almost straight so the point where they cross is actually far away "behind" the screen and i see 3d lol is this the same method or do you really have to cross the eyes?
You cant just put two picturesnext to eachother stupid .. they have to be blurred a certain way and a space should be between... do some research maker.
@TheMacroRevolution nah youre probably thinking of the 'anaglyph' technique, which is the red and blue 3D effect. this is simple stereoscopy in which you just have to look at the images a certain way for them to be 3D
I hate not being able to work out how to do this. It seems like it would be so cool if I could just understand :( For now I will have to stick to standard images.
Wide-eyed I can do easily, but cross-eyed I find really tough. I finally got it here by holding a pen between me and the screen and crossing onto the pen, then shifting attention to screen.
Nice pix, but you should take a lesson from the old-time stero folks, and put the caption under only ONE image. Putting it in the center is most distracting! The viewer can't look at both the 3D images and the caption simuultaneously.
you would never see more on the left side of the pole with your right eye. hold up a pen and close your left eye and look at it with your right eye. then do the same for the other eye. notice how everything behind it appears more to the right with your right eye and then the other side of the pen has more of whats behind it on the left for your left eye. just switch sides with the pictures in the vid
yeah.....that would be great if you actually "cross your eyes" when looking at a stereo image, tard boy.take a picture of yourself when looking at these images. you'll see. you don't actually cross your eyes. the term is just used to help people get an idea at how to see them. AGAIN reread my statement above. then try the pen trick. unless you are naturally cross eyed. I actually make stereoscopic images with artwork for HD Theater television station so I am getting a kick out of your -1
@PhongLopez well you simple angle your eyeballs so their lines of sight 'cross' closer than usual which provides the perspective effect. although your eyes dont actually appear crossed, I just said it to help people like you said. The pictures arent switched by the way, if i switched them it'd be worse. Perhaps youre using the wrong technique?
@PhongLopez actualy your a tard boy, they call them cross eyed viewing because you do cross your eyes. your eyes have to cross to view images close in front of your face. its also how you read. lmao. depending on the amount of stereo depth will depend on how much you cross your eyes. go google sterescopic cross eyed viewing idiot.
@PhongLopez your eyes actualy tow in to view objects close in front of you in the center of your vision in focus, you cannot view something close and far away without moving your eyes. your eyes are parallel when you look at something far away, they tow inwarad and cross when you look at something close in the center of your vision in focus. the closer the image, the more your eyes have to cross.. thiers a reason your eyes cross dumb*.
@PhongLopez you cannot view something far away and close to you at the same time, you also cannot read text about 3 or 4 inches from your eyes regardless if you have 20/20 vision or not.

exactly. right picture represents what the right eye sees and left picture represents what the left eye sees.
he has the pictures backwards. everything that is close up should be far back and vice versa.

No, he has it right. When you cross your eyes, your right eye looks at the lef image and the left eye looks at the right image.
