do you need to have a SD card to do this? because i installed the driver and what not but it doesnt show the 'filesystem' folder...whats the problem??
hey, i got bit pim installed and im trying to get it to work. it only detects my phone as other phone, then stops working if i manualy set it to versa. madformonkey had a similar problem, and he is also with telus. my prob is the filesystem thing in the list on the left never shows up, no matter what
Ok i plugged in My LG Versa and for me the ringtones were differnet my ringtones were in brew/mod/10889/ringtones < im just trying to help in case some people couldnt find their ringtones folder.
@planb23v ya u just need the USB cord(micro) and have the drivers installed for the computer to understand what its being done with it....doesnt matter what kind of computer u have.
Just Cause 2 has taken each and every wonderful aspect of a video game, and packed it straight into the best game ever before! If you would like to play it for free instead of paying money for it, just go to JC2DownloadXcom (replace X with . ) .
@mucktoon did u download the drivers for the phone u r using. if u r using lg env 2(canada is the keybo) or using lg versa u will have to download the drivers for them. if u r using a MAC i havent gotten that far for the macs. hope that helps ya. if u need more info send a MSG. thanks
bitpim isnt able to find lg versa with telus. i can manually set it but it wouldn't detect the phone. keeps switching to verizon and it doesn't work. not using a mac. any help?
@madformonkey1 what OS r u running and it doesnt matter if it goes to the other cell company...ur only trying to access the File system in order to add ringers and images to the phone...make sure u know what com port (USB drive) u have ur phone in...my phone (usb port) is "COM 6" now that im running windows 7. if u still need help msg me and ill work with you on gettin it to work.
help! I am also running a Mac and cannot find the correct driver. Bitpim doesn't recognize my phone at all, even though I followed all the instructions in the video... what am i doing wrong?
@urbendisaster love to help but im not into the hole mac thing...the best info i can give for u is search in google....bitpim with mac....and for that sorry for the problem hope u can get it working with the mac.
@yoshihacker1 thanks anyways! I ended up figuring it out, I needed BitPim vers 1.0.7. TEST on my Leopard mac system, no driver necessary! It takes a while to recognize the phone- the trick is to let it recognize the phone as "Other CDMA Phone" and then once it's connected, change the phone in preferences to "LG-VX9600" then you can get into the ringtones and wallpapers etc. Yay!
@yoshihacker1 I have the same problem as Eph123321, and I can't find the driver either. I followed the steps in the video as best as I could (on a mac) but it's still not working... help?
will it work it is not a virus right please tell me it works cuz my mom blocked my cellphone and i can't download anything into my phone
