@ACTeslaMachineDC all the mcx's have very good crash tolerance but depending on what version usually 8-15 min and it takes 30 min to charge so great for beg.
Great Flight!! Only three days into the hobby, but the control you are showing with this thing is pretty incredible!! Makes me want to keep pushing each flight to be more controlled.
@ROYROYROYROY123 i love the mcx2 its a great heli for the money and probably the best 4 channel trainer u can buy. if u play a little playstation u will have it figured out in no time, i crashed mine about 30 times before having to replace any major parts, the blades can take a small beating before cracking or the linkage balls break off( i think that is most common problem).but as long as u kill the throttle when a crash is imminent u should be fine, until ur confident enuf 2 pilot out of danger
You can't even compare air hog with E-flite. Air hog is a toy for little kids, this is hobby grade micro heil. Air hog is a control crash compare to what the MCX can do. You get what you pay for in life, there is no such thing as cheap and good.
@VoiceOfReason61 yes but the quality and modification ability of these is way greater... i mean if you break a part on the air hog what do you do go buy another heli... these you break something you can fix it fairly cheap so the initial cost is high but after that they are awesome
@VoiceOfReason61 dude this is a 4 chaneel heli airhogs are just cheep 2 channel helis that break all the time and there is no way for you to get parts for it
That's a rich folks house if I ever seen one, yo what's your address homie? when y'all going on vacation? just kiddin. Nice house though for real, and nice flying too.
Very impressive. Not only for the stunts you did but also for doing all of them in only one minute. I agree with others, you are SO ready for the Blade MsR! Peace.
i hate it how people compare this with the havoc heli. the havoc is a toy and is only two channels. this is a 4 ch and gets you closer to a real helicopter in terms of how it flies. the havoc wont get you much experience. this is a totally different idea.
deamn ur a good pilot i got the mcx 3 days ago 4 my b-day n i already broke the stableizer so it doesnt fly rite n it crashes im going to get another today
can someone give me some help with my mcx? Before I took it apart to give it some repairs, it won't do pirouettes to the right very well. In even high rate mode, it would turn slowly and lose altitude, Unlike when you trun to the left, it turns very fast and gains or hovers. Is it a motor, or the 5 in 1?
Unfortunately its probably motor dying. What i did was swap the motors cause one of them is working much harder than the other because it has to drive blades and flybar.
i just got one today it is sooo easy to fly and i have never flown rc helicopters a few crashes but that is it the only thing i dont like is how long it takes to charge but still worthit
Oh yeah, I got mine today and have had a few crashes, a couple pretty bad, but she's running great. It's a nice heli. And nice video man, your good with her!
Well if you smash it into a wall and forget to power down then yeah you'll damage something. As of today, i still have not broken anything on this bird. I've had it fall from above ten feet and its still fine. Trust me ITS TUFF!
I agree with that. I stopped counting the number of crashes I made (when learning to fly it :) )
All that happend were a few almost unnoticable scratces on tne main rotor. And I crashed it into a wall, ceiling lighting, leg of a table, and so on; you name it :)
But yeah, I always turned off the rotor and so far so good.
cbrian4: thnaks very much for the speed tip :) ..and by the way, I don't suck at flying it anymore :)
Oh lol i get it now, wow that was a stupid moment on my part. Yeah its not too hard except maybe if your new. Its probably the best one to learn on though, if you can fly wherever you want to including backwards, then it will be much easier to step up to a cp heli. Cp helis are still hard though and fragile. BTW i just got a trex 250!!!
ur an idiot this heli is very tough if you want to see a fragile one fly the axe cx micro...this is by far the most durable micro i've seen and i'm friends with the owner of a hobby shop so ive seen a few
Its a great one to learn on, its pretty durable. BTW if you want to make it fly forward faster, then, looking at it from the back pop off the right link from the swash plate and you'll notice the plastic piece is threaded onto the metal bar. If you turn the plastic piece two full turns clockwise and snap it back on, it will increase forward flight a lot. Have fun!
Excellent piloting. I just got my mCX about an hour ago...it's very very stable. Looking forward to bringing the helicopter to the office tomorrow...my coworkers will be impressed.
Excellent flying. I love these little things, I just got one a few days ago, and my wife is already learning to fly it. (With no prior RC experience.)
Yeah I just got one of these. I like it a lot. I'm not really a big RC guy. I just bought this one to torment my cats with, and oh man is it really good for that. Fun times.

For the other people on here You can not go to any hobby shop and get parts for a airhog either, they are toy grade r/c's.
I just got a mcx2 a few weeks ago and i love it.
Do you have other r/c's?

I looked at the price for these and they are way over priced. you can get an air hog much cheaper

@VoiceOfReason61 Air hogs only has two channels up/down and left/right. They always move forward and you don't have banking control.
