I always thought it was the film I liked which made no sense, because the abusive husband is a monster. I finally realized that it's this wonderful music, Morning on the Beach by the late Jerry Goldsmith, that I keeps me coming back again and again.

I work with various Charities to try and stop such things, it's so sad and heart wrenching the things some bastards do to their own kids and wives, husbands. I'm not one to show my emotions but when you see it and hear it on a daily basis, you can't but help crying and asking God to stop all of it.

I guess if you like this theme by Goldsmith, you'll also like Goldsmith's 'A Patch of Blue' and John Barry's end credits music to 'Jagged Edge', both melancholy but moving and gentle themes. Also check out Miklos Rozsa's 'Spellbound" main theme, which is the film score that made Goldsmith decide to become a film composer and to marry Ingrid Bergman. As Goldsmith said: "One of of two isn't bad!".

Beautiful piece....simply transports one to a quite, peaceful moment by the beach. Pictures of a beach would have surely added more to the experience.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time, and the soundtrack is a huge part of it. This is the opening number, and I can still see Julia Roberts on the beach as she digs for clams with her feet. The cinematography is absolutely beautiful.

If you haven't seen this, it's pretty much a cult classic movie now, with an over-the-top performance by Patrick Bergin, who plays her husband Martin.

@braidsgalore, I guess you could use Real Player (free download on internet if you don't already have it). Right click on YouTube video and choose final option to download video to Real Player. Then just use Real Players play/repeat controls. let me know if this works for you or not.
