I applaud BoA for trying to breakout and make a name for herself here in the U.S., but in all honesty, American music (lately) hasn't been the sh*t in a long time, so for her to try and "adapt" to the music market here (to me) is just selling out. BoA will still have plenty of American fans, even if she never releases another album here. As far as I'm concerned, American artists could learn a thing or two from her. . .

There's no point of her trying to imitate what's already out there, because nobody's gonna take notice of a newbie that's trying to imitate somebody that's already very established. i think she would have done way better in america if she had brought something new to the table - if she did what she personally does best.

I think they scrapped a lot of her harder dancing to support the "storyline" bits, which is BRUTAL. I'm thinking they should have just stuck it out with the KR version of the routine, but eh.

So the resulting video is an enigma... the dancers could dance, she did do some amazing dancing for this video and there were some very sexy scenes, so what on earth went wrong with the editing - looks like they glued together all the worst bits. I don't think that woman director is right for BoA, she is quite a tough American woman and so I guess resistent to selling someone like BoA who is very feminine. SM need to hire someone else to re-cut this video.

KR vers is better. BUT!! the American music market is NOT going to adapt to her, so SHE must adapt to it. That's just reality. To us fans, she is a goddess, but to the rest of America, she's just some girl with a rep in East Asia.

if you MUST compare this video, put it in context. compare her music video to other artist's videos in AMERICA, you'll see that it's alot better than other artists' even if it's not better than her KR vers. at least try to support her American debut...
