trying to get some asap feedback on the procom rectifier... did you notice any difference or believe that it actually works? is it worth the 55$? thanks in advance
i have a raptor 250 i have a stage 2 cam kibel wight valve springs ported the head and intake alot , biger CDI box biger mufler and air box racing gas and 2 in weel spacers when i got it stock it went 53 mph now it will go 68 mph and it will get thair real fast
I am also @ezerock47 on this on here. Another thing with the racing. I have raced my whole life(15) and my cousin Gabe Ellett has raced Nationals cross country, TT, and flat track for several years. He races local races here and there(goes against raptor 660s, 700) Blows them out of the water, and he only uses his ol' 440. Doesnt even get his 450r's out for local races, its not worth it because no one can stay with his 440. ALot of the riding, is in the rider, and not the bike.

@petardameche an updated carb isn't needed but it always helps.you dont have to buy the edelbrock carb though.you can have a machine shop bore your stock carb and have the same results.
They don't stand a chance.I run a 16: 36 sprocket ratio and with the fat clutch in it, it hooks up and hauls hard really quick. It's a rowdy machine to try to hold on to. A pretty pricey mod though. If you were to sink the same coin into a 450, you'd have a different animal again!!!
It depends on what compression ratio you're running. 11:1 is enough to run race fuel. Pump gas will burn but if the compression is any higher than that, it will detonate under load and can cause severe engine damage
No u shouldn't blow head gaskets mine is bored to a 500 but I have a 450 honda foreman es which goes like 70 m.p.h.

I bought the fan off eBay There is a guy that sells an easy to install kit. Just search ebay for "400ex SPAL fan" and you should find it

make sure you keep an eye on ur head gaskit most of the time if your over 11:1 it will blow the stock one right out

@wolfteam121213 Highest pump gas you can get. If that doesn't work and you get a ping, octane booster helps.

@ezerock47 you can run pump gas on anything under 13:1. I ran pump gas on my 416cc 11:1 stage 2 cams.
