@thebackgroundartiste Just for the record, I said "Ana-sTA-cia" not " Anacia." But you are correct about the Edwardian era. I think this style could be worn for both the Edwardian period as well as the late VIctorian era.
Please learn to pronounce the NAME , ANASTASIA ROMANOV...she was butchered by vile bolsheviks. I also suggest you read a book about that family.
TRY to say this: ANNA TASH SEE AH ROME MAN OFF
She was BUTCHERED on July 17, 1918.
Please read the book: THE LAST DAYS OF THE ROMANOVS, Tragedy at Ekatherinburg by Helen Rappaport
It is a sad book about a true tragedy. None of those poor people died right away , they were made to suffer especially Anatasia, her brother and sisters.
@sutlers2day This video is merely a hair tutorial- not a history lesson. I'm posting your comment in case any one else is interested in the history of the Romanovs. And I've heard many different pronunciations of Anastasia, including by a native Russian friend, but I have never heard anyone pronounce it "ANNA TASH SEE AH." To each their own. :-)
@sutlers2day The way that they pronounce the name in the Disney movie (A-na-STAY-shia) is NOT how it is pronounced. The way that you are pronouncing it is Anglicized and is NOT AT ALL how it is pronounced in Russian. She is saying it correctly even with the emphasis on the correct syllables (something which is hardly ever done by North Americans). It is pronounced A-na-sta-SEE-ya Ro-MAN-ov. And in case you are wondering, I am Russian.
I like your 'Doug' shirt as well. 'Killer Tofu!!!...' And of course, lovely tutorial. I love how you don't use five million different combs, products, etc. so that I can actually do the style.
A great video! Thanks so much for showing imaginative and fun things you can do with long hair without using products, techniques, or tools that are not good for your hair. I look forward to trying some of your styles--my hair is very much like yours. Keep up the good work!
Awesome!! I love hair like that. I will definitely try this :)

@sutlers2day this is a hair tutorial and not a political forum, so keep your thoughts about the bolsheviks to yourself.
