Jaime, its always fun to see what your would come up with next. I have a question, whats your input on the badger renegade velocity? Im looking to buy one but Im wondering which one is better. The Jet or the Standard Cup Size? I personally want the standard size but ive heard that the cup may obstruct the users vision. The local airbrush shop only carries the Jet, so i really cant compare. Your opinion would be appreciated. I love the killer work you create... Keep it up man.

Amazing Jamie, How do you achieve that look of pure vibrant colour? it almost looks like it is being lit up in lights.

I have tried to achieve this look so many times and it ends up looking pastle like and not as impressive.

Does the clear coat have something to do with it also?

Basically its proper technique sanding, then layers of primer, paint, then a whole bunch of paint after-treatments, then using detailing clay to remove all the surface buildup, polishing and waxing and then lighting it up using indirect light from high intensity LED lamps while taking pictures and filming.

Like you said you win some you loose some but in all honesty I dont see how the world you didnt at least place. Your art speaks volumes and you can tell you love your craft. Do you work mainly with opaques or transparents? You are one of the best Airbrush artists I have ever seen both in art theory and control. It is a shame they didn't give you first. probally politics with sponsors. or judges unaware of the subtle details.

Hey Jaime, nice board, I like the balance and colors used in your piece. I entered the contest as well, but bold color really didn't fit my piece, as it was made to look like a pile of scattered homework full of drawings and various things artists usually did in school. At least that's what I did, haha. Still, I like your work too, and like you said, there's always next year. I did a truck that went to SEMA too, but I had 5 days to do the whole thing! I'll put a vid up soon.

There's no way that other guy should of won 1st place... There wasn't enough airbrushing but a sculpture of paint?? it was nice art but it should of been placed in a different category like pinstriping + sculpture..

Jaime, your piece and daniel's piece are the good ones... but seriously, Yours is my number 1 place.. because I get to see more visual scenery in your art... and you are twisting the colors and they exert an expectacular visual.. AWESOME!!!!!
