Terrible riding ability from the guy on the R. I have owned both sleds and the R is by far the fastest of the two. Stock vs Stock but even so if the guy riding the R new how to ride the race would have been different.

i can get a 1993 T-cat that makes 225 reliable horse and ride it all day long for less money than it cost ur buddy to buy that turbo. But honestly do you really need more than 200hp for the trail? but if you wanna play big numbers i got a buddy that has a T-cat with 280hp with NO boost try catching that with an apex

I just went and picked up an 03 f7 EFI. It is clutched and has a jaws pipe. I have always ridden skidoo and I still have my summit but I am going back to grass drags and ice racing but I got my butt handed to me in New Hampshire. So im ganna race the f7. The f7's are wicked snappi and wicked fast, so iv heard. Iv heard that my f7 will kick an 800r's butt but Im ganna have to see for myself. Sick 800 X btw.

800revX you don't need a exhaust or port work to get the results like munden. Lower your top gear 2 or 3 teeth, clutch kit, and a 1.5-1.75" track. You can also go with reeds, but i think you would be very surprised with just a gear swap and clutch kit. I am planning on installing a 23/46 gearing(currently have 26/46), and a Dynamo Joe clutch kit in my 800HO before this winter.

Same motor and chassis, just a longer track....the top end might not be quite as much as an 121" Apex, but its still scary fast...............more than enough for me..............

From what I heard Yamaha has dealt with that using an engine braking reduction system.....but with the engine braking once you get use to it you can use it decelerate in the corners and keep the sled under control without using the actual brake.

Ya, I know so.....the whole sled works together as a unit, and with the skis and sled pointing up and not straight it will cost him, it has to do with aerodynamics believe it or not.

I have transfer rods in my SRX and have played around with them enough to know that with the skis firmley planted I stay on a perfectley straight path, with my skis in the air the sled ever so slightley darts from left to right and back again although it looks cool, it hinders the performance.
