For those of you who searched more deeply through Asian Kung Fu Generation , I'm very happy for you, and thank you :D. What I don't like is people that only know the songs like "Haruka Kanata" and "Rewrite" and only associate this band to anime openings,call themselves fans of AKFG.Fucking posers.

dude i so agree! First time i heard them was in an Anime opening to tell you the truth but I researched them and love all their work. this is one of my favorit songs! I hate it when people are like yeah they sang in naruto! and call themselfs fans! bleh!

This band is cool because it is about music not looks and some people just love a good band. No gimmicks no Hype no naked chicks to push the video and real instruments not some High Priced producer yelling his name all through the song. It makes you feel good to hear a good song with no HYPE.

But the hype is in the anime. Otherwise, North American people wouldn't be listening to this band if it wasn't for Fullmetal Alchemist and Naruto or something.

mh, I have to say I disagree. I think you just have to be looking for this kind of thing, they are pretty popular so they come up a lot if you're searching in the right places. Japanese bands are starting to pop up more in America even without anime.

@OwrKeeng Sure they've gotten more pop-ish as the albums have progressed but there's still a definite rock influence there. Plus pop isn't synonymous with hype and pretense, it's just another genre of music and there are good examples of it out there.
