  • Nice cutting. I'm pretty sure I've watched every episode of TZ, all the BWs when they first aired .I've never seen "Lost". Now I can at least say I've seen a little of what that series is about.

  • Wow! That was great! Well done!

  • NOT The Twilight Zone

  • awesome

  • "Lost" has always reminded me of a scenario, from the book, "Gilligan's Wake".

  • Ohhh this is that show lost with "twilight zone like effects...genius! Iv'e never seen the show but I know it was very popular(always working) but now I'll have to rent it from Netflix! Thanks

  • I love this! What's funny is in this actual "Lost" episode where Kate and Charlie see the pilot's body's reflection in the water puddle, the music in that scene has always reminded me of the "Twilight Zone". Perfect that you included that.

  • haha matt parkman rocks!

  • i think this was good... it kept me on the edge of my seat. (:

  • gj man, I love lost

  • Of course it is fake. It's the first episode of Lost, re-edited. Many people think the actors and plot are quite good, and they watch the show religiously.

  • I can't stand fast & jerky scenes. The magic of the old Twighlight Zone films was in their stillness, where you were made to think. A lot more thought went into them back then. Until they figure that out, they shouldn't try to copy the classics.

  • This is not a real Twilight Zone.

  • no shit sherlock

  • I assume the Serling intro is from Nightmare at 20,000 feet. Can't figure out the outro though.

  • The outro came from The Shelter episode.

Not a real Twilight Zone episode, but pretty darn good.

  • One change: set the title type to "Bernhard Modern"

  • ROCK!

  • Thanks so much for the feedback.

  • great job!

  • THIS ... WAS ... AWESOME.

  • Cool! Very nice job! //dan

  • good job, but this is not a Twilight Zone episode. You should change your title

  • what do you mean is not a Twilight Zone Episode?

  • IS LOST!!!!F...

  • I know that. It is obvious. Hence the sarcastic joke?

And besides I typed the comment as soon as I saw the title and heard the music. So I thought it was wrongly entitled :)

  • uj should cahnge your namw 2 whiner

    everything about this si cool

  • Great Editing JOb!!!!!!!!! He took 3 twilight zone serling narratives,, peiced them together at the beginning and end,,, and where he got the sick scene from which is laughable,is beyong me! You can fool most of the people most of the time,, but not all the people all the time! LMAO!

  • what the hell grabbed the captain ?

  • j.j. abrams made the best movie ever "cloverfield" i just watched it a second ago

  • LOL why was there a shoe stuck to the tree trunk, bahahahha

  • this is one of the best editing jobs i have ever seen...great job taking both and bringing them together as one!!!

  • I thought this was an episode of twilight zone. I got fooled. LOL.

  • i got to about 1:15 before i realized this was the beginning of the first episode of Lost

  • that is wat i call talent

  • Hey everyone, check out my recap of the latest episode of our beloved Lost, it is a short and sweet review to quench your thirst if you are a Lostie like me

  • it is??

  • is this a real lost?

  • Lost the show on abc

  • i have a book of the twilight zone and its really fantastic even if its old. and its better to watch than to read... thanks for uploading

  • brilliant work, the twilight zone style really compliments the lost storyline of being stuck on a mysterious island.

  • He looks like the guy from heroes because he IS the guy from heroes

  • Jack is an incident commander in this. He doesnt stop to "feel" what's happening he moves and directs others in what to do. He begins to triage what must be responded to first and tilt that head back-- air in the stomach is gastric distension=puke and choke

  • I didn't understand the ending... Someone care to explain?

    Thanks :)

  • i <3 the theme song xD

  • maybe the lost people are in the twilight zone!!! :O

  • lol this is more intresting than the bermuta triangle xD

  • The pilot on this episode looks alot like the same guy on Heroes(Greg Grunberg a.k.a. Matt Parkman) Anyways I think the Twilight Zone style of Lost was really cool! They just made it in black and white and threw some "T.Z." music into the mix! Still very good! The Blood scene was the only part in color...very effective! It added a new layer to the visuals!

  • cool.

  • Excellent!

  • I liked this a lot:)

  • A Movie Dearest blog featured video. See my profile for the link and playlists!

  • from which Twlight Zone episode is the narration in the begenning??

  • I think this is from 'The Odyssey of Flight 33,' where an airplane keeps skipping backward in time from 1961 to 1939 to the prehistoric.

Great video, by the way. Great concept. On some level, too, it's nice to see Jack back when he was capable and not a complete jackass, pardon the pun.

  • I think so, too. The voice-over fits perfectly!

"An Oceanic jet airliner, en route from Sydney to Los Angeles on an uneventful afternoon in the year 2004, but now reported overdue and missing, and by now searched for on land, sea, and air by anguished human beings fearful of what they'll find. But you and I know where she is, you and I know what's happened."

  • Vargaboy is correct, also has parts of episodes - The Shelter and 5 Characters in search of an Exit.

  • @kony5669 Narration from "The Oddesy of Flight 33" is also used in the beginning, I think.

  • They put this link on IMDB today, expect a lot of hits

  • very cool, true, Lost is very much like the Twilight Zone, but not enough to feel like a rip off, there are a few nods to the Twilight Zone in the show.

  • I've always said Lost is a new Twilight Zone with a dash of Outer Limits.

  • dude....

    Nice

  • Very neat. The video was well edited and matched to music. And the narration during the crash scene was perfect. I also liked how you cropped the video from the opening to hide the credits.

However, once the plane crashed, you didn't really offer a new spin on anything, we just watched a compressed timeline unfold in black and white. Nonetheless, this was a very slick and clever edit job. I wouldn't be surprised if you get a shout-out from J.J. himself.

  • Well done.

  • that was all right. Probably could have been trimmed down a lot.

  • hehe that's pretty cool

  • Thanks

  • Your video views is about to sky-rocket.

Your Featured on the home page of IMDb.

  • That was kinda cool...almost makes me wanna watch lost again!

  • Fits so well. Great job.
