@420dilless In my opinion, people are too hard on Expert Village. On the other hand, not many of their videos present quality instruction. Take this one, for example. The drummer is obviously pretty skilled, but he doesn't do anything to break down the licks he plays in the video. Most beginners won't be able to simply copy the licks by simply listening and watching.

But there is quite a bit of quality drum instruction available via YouTube. [See next post.]

they tend to pick random people for their videos. they're sloppy, the equipment usually sucks, etc. no beginner is gonna know what a triplet is if they watch this video.

a triplet in a basic 4/4 measure is the splitting of one quarter note into three. a full measure of triplets in 4/4 would be composed of 12 notes altogether. it's a basic concept, but this guy only demonstrates it without actually explaining what it is.
