Am I the only one who feels like this show was a satire of femminism? Think about it for just a second. For all Marianne's self-indulgent behavior and materialism, she's a very empowered woman. She does what she wants, when she wants to, and said 'f*ck all' to anybody that doesn't like it. Cybill is always preaching on about women empowerment, but mostly all she ever done is whine. Cybill talks the talk, but Marianne very ironically walks the walk.
Correct. She is secretly auditing some classes, but she does not want to tell her parents. Also, it is probably still the summer time, given that her trip to Europe only lasted three weeks.
