Definitely not Robbo at his best, but still love him! The reason, I reckon, that there was no Sykes and White present is that Moore only wanted the Lizzy legends and here with scotty and Eric, you've got them!!
@jimmer9907 I think if they'd done some Lizzy songs that had originally featured Sykes, he should have been there, but it was the classic players from each classic song. What a concert! Wish I'd been there.
RIP Gary ! How much pure love he has in this song, something thaht there is no longer a part of our life, everything is so stupid and foolish...Only the music remains forever
WHAT A FANTASTIC SOLO FROM GARY ON THIS, AV LOST COUNT HOW MANY TIMES IVE WATCHED THE DVD, SO MUCH EMOTION. ROCK AND BLUES AND GUITAR MAGS PLEASE GIVE THIS MAN THE HONOUR AND HELP TO GET HIM IN DUCTED IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME
this is a concert that brings together all former Thin Lizzy guitarists right? good, because if it comes to that should have also included John Sykes, or is it only the former Irish members

This performance proves why it was key that Gazza Moore wrote the solo. Brian doesn't know what to do with it if he's not playing his version of Gazza's solo.

why this man moore aint renowned as one of the worlds tastiest players ever I will never know - beautiful choice of notes (I have grown up listening to him from earlier albums like 'rather bee or a wasp" - anyone remember that? he loses me sometimes with his desire to heavy metal out but when he wants a note to weep he always steps up to the mark - great player - robertson still has the weep factor even though he don't know what planet he's on - great gig...
@563421094 And this viewpoint from your armchair??..Robbo was very much part of the lizzy sound and indeed a fine player!...to me he did alright at this gig!!...but more importantly..he was there and not only has the t-shirt but certainly doesn't need a lecture about any percieved drinking problems he may or may not have(-that's his business and nobody elses!)...you know what...i doubt he's that bothered about your opinion..and as a fellow Scot..we are all hellishly proud of Brian Robertson!!!
@fleepit It was a rash statement and I do apologise it was suppose to be some sort of a joke that back fired - I have been an enormous fan of Lizzy right back to the Eric Bell days and beyond I actually met Phil,Gary and Brian Downey when they played the Cavern Club in Liverpool back in the mid 70's - I have the two Wild Horses albums and saw them live in Birkenhead many moons ago - Yes I am an enormous Brian Robertson fan he's my favourite in the band so talented.. my families Scots by the way

I think Brian would be better singing Whiskey in the jar............he looks like he's got a heavy drink problem
