It's probably not gusting 30 knotts. But you wouldn't know that from an over compressed video on youtube anyway. If your mast would snap in 25 then there's something wrong with your rig, or you can't bare away properly. Learn to keep the bow out. 29ers and 49ers sail in more than 25 all the time.
