It sounds like he could still be stressed because of the ich or it is also possible that your damsels are picking on him at night when your not watching. How long has he been in your tank?
excuse me, my sailfin stopped eating since a couple of days ago, it did take a bite but spit the food out, its colour turns lighter, like signs of stress, in my tank, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate<20, pH ok, it did suffer from ich a few days ago, the ich disappeared later and it stopped eating, do you have any idea what's wrong? I did a 20% water change today, the damsels are fine, just the sailfin, has this happened to you before?
if you do set your tank back up i have a snowflake eel for sale for $10!!! i saw u live in ohio i life in columbus and i am looking for some one that wants my eel none of the lfs will buy it but they will take it for free so i am looking for some one thanks
Nice video! I know some of yous are gonna hate me for this but I got some aquarium videos over on my channel so please go check them out for me! Tell me what you think...Thanks guys
nice tank bro! 1.a what type of filtration r u running? 2. with so many fish in that 60 g do u ever deal with ammonia problems? 3.how often do you change your water n how much?4. an honestly have u lost any fish since u first air this video, the racoon looked pretty shaky.not tryn 2 drill u im just wondering because i had some of these issues with my tank thats all bro.
Marine Land power filter. also an eco aqualizer. liverock also provides good filtration. never had problems with ammonia. I did a 20 gallon water change monthly. i never lost any fish. this video was made 1 day after I got the raccoon so he is a little stressed but, made a full recovery. i have since dismantled this tank and it now sits in my sisters basement, empty. I sold the fish to my boss and they are getting along well.
@rocklord423 yeah i have a 60 gallon with just a dwarf angel, a blue damsel, chalk basslet, indigo dottyback and 4 clown fish two babies from the mated pair
depends on the depth the wattage of the lights and the type of anemone. Different anemones require different light intensities. Some are medium and some are high. You should do well with a pink tip provided you have at least 65 watts of light and your tank is less than 2ft deep. also be sure your tank is established before introducing an anemone.
Sometimes it helps to take all of your fish out before adding the new fish and then rearrange all of you rock work and decorations. After that you can add you old fish and your new fish to the tank at the same time. To your damsels it will seem they are in a whole new environment and they wont have any territory to defend.
It really depends on your tank size. Try adding other fish and keep your eye on them. If there is a problem I would get rid of the damsels. There are several fish that will hold their own to the damsels though. Tangs will defend themselves, Also rabbit fish, any species of clownfish (just not too small), dwarf lion fish, and any other small semi aggressive fish.
Isnt this tank alittle overcrowded

He's right sharks in a 60 gallon is a bad idea. also you need to be careful about what you put in with them
