  • this is true

  • при чем тут волновая система? 90% содрано с Русского стиля :) Не, все-таки умеет у нас народ бизнес делать :)

  • haha in a street fight this is bs krav maga wat i learn is effective cause while some wave guy is dancing in front of me ill be able to knock him out instead of dance with him like the guy in the clip is doing haha

  • @knt1234561 a real fighter doesnt ridicule other styles :S

  • @SuWoopSparrow im not ridiculing it im just saying its more realeistic to have a huge black guy swinging wild or diresct hits at u rather than him trying to play with ur hands

  • @SuWoopSparrow

    Exactly!

It isnt about style, Its about princiles and mastery level of them. In other words its always about you and you alone, what works for you and how much you train and how much talented you are.

There is not such thing as better or worse style, there is only better or worse fighter.

  • there is no website with this address ;(

this guy is awesome, look at him throwing knives.

has anyone some links about him ?

  • @Avaj78 thank you...well said i can sit here all day and tell my sparring partner to do this type of punch or this type of punch, and throw him around. In a streetfight no one is going to ask you what type of punch you want thrown at you and at what speed. well said my friend.

  • SYSTEMA!!!!

  • He just more fully developed the Systema wave principle into another martial system.

  • любой начинающий боксер ему наваляет, пока он свои кренделя в воздухе будет выделывать. такими приемами только в гей-клубе обжиматься

  • Thats some slick stuff, That man has really found his niche in this. Definately effective.

  • This a bizzare looking style of Self Defense.

  • Actually the first time I've ever seen/heard of this style. Looks incredibly over complex due to all of feint-type maneuvering, but I imagine that what makes it so effective, keeping your opponent off balance and guessing. Any good competition videos featuring this style against krav maga or other combat styles?

  • No such thing, because IKMF do not do comeptitions, and this style neither... Besides, Krav Maga is a military defense system and this is a martial arts system that dosen't even follow military principles lol, so I woudn't even compare it. apperantly the guy who made this system used to throw knives or sumthin and he made it according to some weird throwing knife ability that mixes it with fighting

  • TECKTHONIC

  • not wing chun, looks like a couple of dumog moves i learned a few years back.

  • looks like 52, wing chun, baugua, tai chi interesting tho

  • This another spoiled derivation of "Kadachnikov System". It looks like this derivation is for people after 70.

  • Its funny how people get all upset about "ownership" of Russian Martial Arts. Everyone accepts there are different styles, federations and teachers of the various kung fus, karate, jujitsu, TKD etc, but apparently they have to find "the one" for Russian Systems. I study Ryabko Systema, but have a lot of respect for all styles and masters of RMA, one of which is definitely Fedin, and MA's generally. And if this system is effective for 70 yo people, isn't that a good thing? ("KadOchnikov" BTW)

  • ХЕРНЯ!!!!!

  • Reminds me of CQC on metal gear

  • awesome post!!!

  • It's no more slap happy than any kung fu style appears to the outside spectator. I'm sure there's no wasted movement in what appears to be slap happy especially if it's a combat art.

  • The best knife defense is to get the hell out of there as fast as humanly possible. Knives equals ugly, mortal wounds. I'd rather get shot.

  • Ditto

  • looks like Philippine MA to me.

  • This is a copy of Wing Chun, nothing more

  • This is no Wing Chun.

Wing Chun does not waste energy on movements that are neither efficient nor necessary.

  • Looks a lot like Bagua/Taichi.. IMA Principles.

  • ne nu chto za bred...:) ya vobshe ne ponimayu, takaya huinya tolko u nas mozhet byt....:)

  • Ha!!

Someone remind me NEVER! to grab this guy from behind !!!

  • lol yup

  • waht is the song

  • This looks a whole like chi-sao. Is this supposed to be the wave movement of ninjutsu?

  • Супер!

  • Wave System: a lot of bullshit.

  • You'd be surprised at how well it actually works in street fights. And other fights too...

  • @chmarina do you randomly go get into street fights? Because i do every friday/saturday downtown denver. nothing works better than good ole american wrestling or sambo NOTHING and this is comming from real talk you should see my face its cut up as shyt from fighting so much.

  • @Crimescene26 You randomly go into fights? Wow, you have some serious issues my friend. Personally, I don't go into random fights, but rather use it for self defence, which is the main point of any martial art.

Wrestling and sambo are always good, but you can't just say that there is nothing better than those two. Fedor is currently the strongest Ultimate Fighter, and he is a master of Russian Systema (Wave System). I think that shows you enough how potent that style of fighting is.

  • @chmarina Too bad fedor isn't in the UFC, he is in strike force and just got choked the f out by verdum. ummmmm fedor is also a sambo fighter not wave system. you would get pummeled trying this crap in the ufc or strikeforce.

  • @Crimescene26 Yeah, his first real loss after how many years of being basically undefeated? What you don't realize is that Fedor is actually a Systema practitioner. Combined with Sambo, it made him who he is. As for the pummeling, why don't you find yourself a Systema fighter in Denver (I'm sure there are a couple of 'em around) and ask him for a sparring session. I believe you will be highly surprised at the consequences of your challenge.

  • @Crimescene26 As for your face...frankly, I'm not the least bit interested...

  • @chmarina thats fine...at least i have an excuse for mine looking rough. what is yours.

  • @chmarina bullshit

  • @chmarina I can't see it working. Call me sceptical, but I am for the old fashioned elbow strikes. Next week I am off to a self defense camp, and I'll try to practise this. Wish me luck

  • @AdamsTeinz a

also, if this were a real fight, he would be alot more aggresive, and he would strike a lot faster

  • Your Mouth: a lotta bullshit.

  • Bull Shit =)

  • avaj7or8 You jooking no one could aproach this guy, they would be dead before they got 20 ft from this guy, he has the power of the almighty pokemon on his side.

  • People! Now Yury Fedin has official site and forum!

You can ask him questions and discuss his throw and fight system.

    fedin-system(dot)com/forum

  • I believe this is a variation from the wave system of russian systema

  • I don't see what all the hub-bub is about. The movements he is linking are like the great ape expressions of pentjak silat(bela-diri/maen) of the late Willy Wetzel(poekoelan) and Willem Reeder(kuntao). The Ruskies have traveled the world like anyone else. Indonesia went almost red and had many military advisors(50's-70's). "No One Nation Has A Monoploy On The Sun" Told to me by my teacher. Nat-Mo-Bud-Ty-Ya Saa-Too!

  • who wants to eat a bunch of elbows?

  • @NewZealfighter ME ME ME those are delicious, makes me feel alive when i get punched or elbowed.

  • The funny thing is that it seems new, but what this fedin or wave system is is a hybrid which is 1/3rd of wing chun's chisao/lat sao and 2/3rds of hubud lubud from filipno eskrima or arnis/kali's empty hand area, or panantukan, filipino traditional amrtial arts boxing, it also has some kakie from goju ryu. He just united the 3 arts under an "internal" style concept, and used keysi fighting method's head-face covering offensive guard. but even those 4 arts combined completely are below SUCAM

  • how do you know this?

  • by lloking at it using my eyes and brain to formulate a theory that is the truth applicable to it?

  • thats not a scientific explaination

  • Let me put it this way.....17 years of experience in 29 style of kung fu, 12 styles of kempo and karate, 5 styles of jujutsu and taijutsu, and also a first-hand experience as a practicioner, advanced, of 7 styles of kali and 4 of kuntao-silat

  • so did you master all of these styles? since when has quantity equaled quality? in 365 days out of the year one could practice 365 systems of combat which would make one a beginner in all of them. I've asked some of fedin students if wing chun was a influence in his art and the answer was no!!! no keysi,no kali,no panantukan.

  • I did master these styles, and I must say that even if they don't want to acknowledge, they are influenced by it, because those styles predated their art and you see the same moves, but anyways, this is it, I refuse to talk to a man who doesn't want to listen, let alone one that didn't serve in the corps and know what is it like to fight for your life

  • how could you master any style at 28? do you know what it takes to master a style! My sifu trained in wing chun for 25 years before he was made a master by ip ching, wong shong leung and Tsui Seung Tin, it took three grand masters signatures. Now let me see 29+5+5+12+7+4 styles that equals 62 styles in 17 years. WOW! AND YOUR only 28! But 62! LOL! If I take 62 1010 classes at any college in the country do you think any of them would give me a PHD?

  • My friend, allow me to culturize ana sshole: you.

If I learn Luohan quan or the 18 hands arhat boxing and I learn then mizong quan or Lost Track Sill boxing, I take twice as long as if I learn the mizong luohan quan style of shaolin, yes? Same for bajiquan and piguaquan. My masters were competent enough to teach an amalgamated basis which makes learning not a sequence of links on a chain, but parallel pillars sustaining the block of knowledge. All styles alike can be paired or clustered

  • Your right there are alot of different ways to learn the arts. I apologize and stand corrected.

  • Well, Jazz, you were just defending the basic principle of honesty and congruence, and there is no shame or fault in doing so, we just bumped heads, it's ok, but I appreciate that a man of logic and reason, and integrity, defends the arts' spirit and also helps promote such an interesting system as Wave System or Fedin

  • @Koldztone your still a liar. post video or somethin liar. your not a MASTER of 53 martial arts. you would be in movies or a pro fighter. LIAR!

  • @Koldztone your telling me your a master in 52 different martial arts LIIIIAAAAR! think before you type. How old are you like 200 LMAO you fail at pretendting to be a fighter.

  • @Koldztone fight for your life behind a computer. there is no cqc in the wars we have. I eat marines and shyt out army grunts.

  • man of many knives not one of which is sharp

  • @Koldztone im no master in anything but i have beaten plenty of ass.

  • I bet that technique(where he pushes the arm down and then elbows it) would'nt work if someone stabbed you att full speed and strenght.

  • what happens when your mugger is a woman? XD

  • then your skrewed

  • Hit the whore as hard as you'd hit a guy. 'Cause once the bitch wants to mug you, the whole "Oh noes you should never hit a woman!!" rule goes right the fuck out the window.

Translation: You try to fuck up my day, then you're no longer a woman :D

  • @berner you could always try to use something that doesn't ruin her face, or use your superior strength (which I suppose there is).

  • looks like wing tsun

  • when ever i'm feeling a little blue i watch this again: cheers me up no end to see that people want to make us laugh that much!! thanks lads for the parody ! hilarious

  • I don't know. Systema is cool but I don't like this.

  • Fascinating stuff -- I see the body moveing as a wave, almost like an octopus. The way they move reminds me of the pushhands drill in Yiquan, and using the circular wave using the elbow to protect the head while moving towards the opponent's centre very similiar in Xingyi. I saw a clip on Russian Martial Arts earlier where the Cossacks were dancing and fighting in a circle and it was similar.

  • Pretty cool. I can see the Russian circular stuff as well as some very chi-sao type movements in there. RMA-haters can pound sand - they're missing out on some awesome stuff.

  • this is some huge mickey take right? i mean you guys aren't serious are you ? are you ??!!

  • Hahaha

  • what ?

  • Система боя федина

  • вообще это обычный Русский Стиль, еще это называется Буза, Система Кадочникова, Рябко, Васильева и еще много каких перцев, а суть одна и та же - раслабленное тело и передача энергии через волны!

  • he straight up griped that dudes nuts

  • Very cool!

  • fineally a video of the wave system i love it, i wish there were more that knew it so i could learn
