  • Love this clip. It's so flipping hot!

  • *sighs* Oh my gosh. I think I just fell even more in love with Methos! Others have said it, and I'll repeat it: I would pay good money just to hear PW read the phonebook! *melts*

  • Postcards from alexa was my favourite story in an evening at joes shame he didn't do it all.

  • i love methos in love

  • Wonderful...this is just the most perfectly performed illustration of marriage as the union of blood-pumping eroticism and spiritual love. Peter Wingfield strikes a balance between poetic theater acting and understated storytelling. And...tee hee, ladies, give this comment a thumbs up if he managed to get your blood pumping with this performance. :-D

  • OMG!!! That's enough to set me on fire!! 

  • what a great actor. few men could have pulled off that dialogue and made it not cheesey. Amazing! They should play this clip to men eveywhere who ever asked "what do women want?"

  • ...oh...my...god...(sigh)

  • I am in love.

  • GOOD LAWD HE IS SEXXXY!

  • -whimpers-

  • that was a great

  • I came to be his fan when he became Methos on Highlander, but he is unabashedly one of my favorite actors. It cetainly never hurts that he is Welsh, and his voice has a gentle lusciousness about it, that seems to calm me.

  • I fell in love with his voice when he was in the Archers, being radio I couldn't see his face of course.

  • Anytime I need an ooey-gooey break I come back to this. PW's voice is better than chocolate!

And those eyes! ooh baby, ooh baby

  • Wow...just wow. The most erotic romantic thing i have ever seen.

  • I seriously can't put down An Evening at Joe's. I love that collection of Highlander tales. Postcards is my favorite because it shows a side of Methos that we don't get to see the more romantic and passionate side beside the witty or smart ass one we're use to. Man, I have this on DVD. I'm going to have to find this piece when I get home.

  • This was lovely. Thank you for posting.

  • I just enjoy Peter's voice and he is handsome.

Methos is such a well liked character and it is cool he did these vids.

  • Now, this is what LOVE is all about!

  • I'm sitting in a classroom at a computer as I'm watching this, and I feel that it is the wrong place too watch this, ´cause I'm turning strange colours. ^^ *blushing*

  • I just love him.

Oh my God, I simply melted.

So cool that he made these Methos videos, like the Methos Rocks and this.

    Oww.

    Thx very much for uploading.

  • Awwe.

  • long live Methos!

  • @Seannaholic well, he *is* immortal =)

  • you can fall in love with this guy just by listening and watching him.. i really wish he had his own show. thanks for posting!

  • Methos & Alexa- One of the greatest love stories ever told! Thank you, Peter, for falling in love with them too, and doing this for us!

  • Oh, I just want to put this on infinite loop and listen to it all day long. He should read the phonebook. I'd pay to hear that.

  • Great, thanks so much for the Video!

  • I've watched this three time today! I love this character. He should have gotten his own show. Yummy!

  • *melted into goo*

he really could read the phonebook and make a girl mess herself...personally I'd like it if he did.

  • Oh god I must get this book. Then again this is way better than any book. How'd you get this, how'd you find it?

  • Uh...guh!*brain fries and goes into insane wonderful laughter*

That man! Oh god, he really can read the phone book. All those pauses and sighs, closing his eyes at the right moments. He's bloody fantastic and amazing! Thank you for posting this.

  • Methos for ever! it's great..

dont loose you head friend! - live Methos, fight another day -

  • You're right, it's the first of the "Postcards from Alexa" from the "An Evening At Joe's" anthology.

I remember seeing some footage from a convention where he actually began reading the phone book... and it sounded great! :)))

  • Now that's got to have been a real treat!

I just got a hold of the book. Neat how the change from the book's third person narrative to a first person monologue, made it all the more intimate.

  • How did this man not get his own show.. I so want to see the Methos Cronicles .. And I so want him to read more..

  • that s for sure. He deserves his own show!!!
