What a way of meeting people and get to see their talent. At first was reluctant being on youtube, but getting to do this has brought me into the houses of some very special people. You are one of them. Life; isn't it wonderful!
Keep up the good work. Hope You Are Having A Splendid Day!
RGAD is such an underrated film. The wordplay tha Stoppard wrote is well managed here in this great film. Thanks for posting ... no matter how long it lasts up on YT.

Wow, another awesome track coupled with awesome movie stuff ! .. focused on the theme of death .. Whee? lol, awesome ! Death is the road to awe !.. Pax Et Lux. Gypsy
I love this song. I`ve watched the film, and I love this film. My grandmother is dead for three days. The song is about death and film is also about it. My book is about two bards, and these two guys resemble them. I want to have this video in my computer. Thank you very much.
Ok there was a vid of this song that was freaky good - Maybe, probably, was Modest Mouse official, but it's been taken down or something. It was like abstract visuals, seemingly random but not. Not a slide show either. Anybody know where it is? Or if it's been removed, then why? or what?
That's one way of looking at it. I had to do a project on the lyrics and the way the song progressed. As both a poem and a song I broke it down a million different ways. It was pretty fun!! :)
wow, you combined my favorite movie with one of my favorite songs. I really appreciate how you play them off one another, and how the themes of the video build toward the end. Great job!
If I buy the album (WWDBTSES), it will be because of this video. I loved this song.
I saw about half of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and enjoyed it way more than I expected. I was delighted to see these two things put together.
Great video. One of the best R&G videos I've seen =) I've seen it a few times and each time I end up liking the song more and more. Excellent. I ♥ this movie, this song, and this music video!
Trust me YouTube doesn't give a fuck if you are just a fan. They'll take this video down as soon as they discover it contains the entire song. It has happened to two of my videos. I won't upload them to YouTube anymore not worth my time.
What do they gain from doing that!? This video makes me want to buy the CD more. It's good marketing if you ask me, a good example of the band and the movie.
well, they gain not being potentially in legal hot water with the people who own the rights to the content being posted, as they can point out that they're making a good faith effort to prevent it - that's what Youtube gets out of it.
As to what the owner of the IP gains? Nothing, in my opinion - plenty, apparently, in theirs.
I totally bought this album thanks to listening to it on you tube. It is one of my favorite albums of all time. Its not like the album is being downloaded illegally. sound quality on album is better too. nothing wrong with discovering whats on the album.
if you haven't yet, you've got to check it out. it's great. there's an element to the movie, sort of a running gag, that isn't in the original stage script, but apparently it was Stoppard's idea. You'll see what I mean when you see the movie.
this is such a fitting song for this movie. a lot of people interpret the movie to be a representation of theater and how roles must be fulfilled, but from the start of watching this movie my interpretation was that they were dead and so was everyone else around them. A fitting sequel to Hamlet and a fitting song to the sequel.
I wish I could have oral sex with this song, either giving or receiving and having a baby with Isaac Brock or this video's author for it to be one of those wonder-genius-babies
Great vid, excellent music choice. I had never heard the song before. I love too many parts to count, but my faves would have to be at 1:48, 2:40, 2:55, 3:29-3:31, and 5:30.
Good mix of the death imagery and lyrics. I thought you edited it up to portray Richard Dreyfess as a sort of God character, who is able to resurrect people at His own whim, like when he "dies" on stage then peeks out an eye.
In the end, everyone else is struck with the fate He dealt them. (in the full movie you see him yanking R&G's nooses himself).
Hey i like this video & all.. but i'd like to know if somebody knew what happened to another fan video of "Parting of the Sensory".. it was a completely trippy video.. if anybody knows a lil information i'll be very grateful.. i loved that video :(
I know the one you're talking about. It's a bunch of weird, random images, right? I didn't realize it was gone. I just tried searching for it here and yeah, can't find it. D: Dunno why.
Excellent--! At first, the disconnect between the tune and the imagery kind of jarred me, but as it got closer to the end, it fit more and more exactly. I LOVED the last minute and a half. Wonderful work!
Downloaded and saved for further sharing and posterity's sake, good works should always be preserved.
