um, greenday aren't punk rock, so how could they possibly ruin punk rock for anyone? I love this first wave stuff, but I also love second wave/street punk and newer styles of punk too, from all over the world... punk isnt dead just because some bands are using the image as a marketing gimick... there's still hundreds of thousands of "kids" (aged 3- to 73+) listening to and making punk rock even if it's not the same as in grandpas' day :) And no i don;t mean greenday or any of that mall sh!t.
